A double dip of drabbles (and what to do with them)

I'm finally starting to see, way far away and using a telescope, the end of the huge archiving endeavor I started back in August. By Christmas I should only have to worry about working on my two WIPs, I hope. I seriously never realized how much I'd written over the years ^^;

Scraping the sides of the bowl, I'm looking at the considerable number of drabbles I've accumulated. I've got upwards of 40 of them or more. Some are interrelated. Though most are One Piece, there's a few Naruto, one GW and one 'completely unrelated to anything'. Some are in response to challenges. I'm trying to figure out the best format for archiving them on AO3. Most other drabbles I see have been collected in a single 'fic' with one drabble a chapter, but not sure that'd apply due to the various fandoms.

Tentatively thinking of creating a 'Drabbles' series with one fic per fandom and one drabble per chapter, except for those that are thematically related and which can go on one page with separations.

Pondering out loud in case someone hit the same issue and found a more elegant solution.

All I can say is yeah, please don't put them all in one giant fic-- at least separate them out by fandom. (I have been known to actively avoid those kind of giant drabble smush things where there are multiple fandoms.)

I'd also suggest not putting more than ~10 or so in one fic, just because tagging gets unwieldy at that point.

Good point, plus it might allow me to group them thematically - comedy, drama...then again too much drama might be a downer, so a mix and match might be better ^^;

I definitely think separating them out by fandom but linking the collections as a series is the way to go - I think few people like wading through multifandom chaptered collections. It's nice to keep fandoms separate and easy to navigate.

It's pure happiness being able to have access to all your stories!!! I'm a huge fan of your Naruto and GW stories. Out of curiosity, will you be posting your Sasuke/Naruto Anbu story? I think it's called Masks. You wrote three chapters of it so I imagine it's going to be a WIP for good but I thought I would ask.

It's actually called ANBU - because as much as my inspiration is good at filling in plot lines, playing with spatio-temporal anomalies and hooking surly guys up together in improbable relations, I SUCK at creating original and interesting titles ^^; I will get that and an older KakaIru WIP up on AO3 eventually. Everything - even that crack-o-rific One Piece mpreg - is going to be on AO3 eventually.

YAY!!! Awesome!!! DIES!!! Of Happiness of course!! Hehe. I love that story to death. The idea that there's a misunderstanding and Sasuke thinks Neji is dating him is just too funny and fun.
